Terms & Conditions

Initial Deposit and Session Fee 

In order to confirm your session and date, a 50% non-refundable deposit is due. The deposit will be used towards the remaining amount due of the session, which is due on the day of the session. The fee covers the time and skill that I put into your session, the editing of images according to my style and creativity and also includes the images that are made available in your own private gallery.  Photographs will not be processed nor delivered until the session fee is paid in full.

Rescheduling & Canceling 

If you or a family member are feeling ill, or another situation prevents your session from taking place, you may reschedule your session up until 6 hours prior to the shoot without penalty. Rescheduling will be subject to availability. If you do not notify me in that time frame, or decide to completely cancel the shoot, the deposit is forfeited and will not be refunded. I may also have to reschedule or cancel due to illness, weather, equipment malfunction, or other circumstances beyond my control.

Re-shoots & Refunds 

Re-shoots are extremely rare and may be offered on very specific occasions, at my own discretion. There are no refunds.

Archive 

I will keep your files archived for at least 2 weeks after your session. I back up all my files twice to reduce the risk of loss of the images however I cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to the digital files due to circumstances beyond my control. After you download your photos, I encourage you to have a back up for yourself as well.

Location 

The session will take place at a location agreed to by us. You will be responsible for the payment of any costs, fees or expenses associated with any location, if applicable.

Tardiness Fee

Arriving late to your session will result in lost session time as it will not be given back at the end of it. The session will be rescheduled if you arrive over 30 minutes after our scheduled start time, however an additional $100 deposit will be required to reschedule. If you do not come to your session and you do not communicate with me, the deposit will be considered earned and you will need to pay a full new deposit to schedule a new session. 

Online Image Delivery 

Your gallery will be available for viewing within 1-2 weeks of your session through a link on my website, and a password will be emailed to you. The gallery will be viewable for 1-2 weeks starting from the date it is first made available for viewing and downloads. An additional fee of $30 will be charged to reactivate the gallery for another period of 1 (one) month.

Print Ordering

Your images can be downloaded and used for printing at any printing lab of your choice, however please note that the quality of prints ordered through such establishments cannot be guaranteed. Professional grade prints can be ordered from your private gallery at an additional cost from my lab of preference while your gallery is still live. Every print is reviewed by me to ensure its quality.

Copyright and Print Release 

Even though you have the permission to print the photos from your session and use them for personal purposes, you may not use them for commercial purposes as I still own the copyrights to it. If you would like to use the images for anything other than your own personal use please consult with me first. 

A print release will be provided with the digital files so you can print the photographs for personal use. The print release does not allow publication of your photographs (e.g. entering in contests or reproduced for commercial use), or sell or alter the images without my written permission. Any copying, scanning, downloading, printing, sharing, altering, or other use of any image created by me during your session is prohibited. Files may be shared in social media however they may not be altered in any way and I must be tagged.

Model Release 

You will allow me the right to use and publish the photographs from your session for editorial, advertising, educational and any other professional purpose, including my website and social media. You release all claim to profits that may arise from use of images. Do you agree? It's up to you, really. 

Liability 

I will not be responsible for any damages or injuries suffered by you or any others participating in your session. You are responsible for your own well being and any others’ (including children) participating in the session, even though I will do everything I can to avoid this. You release me, as the photographer, of and from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, injuries (to person or property) arising out of or in connection with the session or any products related to it.

Covid-19 

Safety for my families, friends, and my personal family is my highest priority. Prior to all sessions, I will sanitize my hands; as well as following each session. I will employ no-touch posing methods and longer focal length lenses to give us space and adhere to the 6 ft. boundaries. I'll ask that you sanitize your hands before and after the shoots. I will be wearing a mask while shooting, and will require your support person and/or persons not involved in the shoot to wear a mask at all times. All clients will need to sign a Covid-10 Liability Release.

Final Considerations 

Packages, image prices, products and services are subject to change at any time. Prices will be locked for 30 days following your session. In the interest of fairness to all clients, I do not offer special deals or discounts except for those that may I run occasionally as promotions. For this reason, please understand that session fees, print prices and business policies are non-negotiable. Please review samples of my work to make sure that my style of photography and editing is a good fit for you and your family.
